Waqrapucara Full Day

One of our programs that offers an excellent experience of visiting this place for nature lovers where we will see the cultural richness of the province of Acomayo.
Geological formations the Apurimac Canyon, Curious formations in the rocks, the typical Andean landscape, the local fauna and the Andean people’s lifestyle.

Itinerary

Departure from Cusco 4am with our private van we will go to the southeast of the Cusco region.
A stop needed in Cusipata for breakfast and we will continue with the trip. In total of Cusco Two and a half the trip by car, We go through the pomacanchi lagoon, District of Sangarara and from there we will take another alternative route to the starting point of our trekking to 4100msnm.
Here the typical landscape of the puna is very unique with the view of the mountains around.
The trekking time is like a half hour.
The beginning is a flat path, a bit of a climb and the last part of the descent to the nitro destination Waqrapucara. In this way we arrive at the most impressive place on the Apurímac River with the geological formation that makes the imposing and unique marvelous place.
The pre-Inca construction of the Canchis nation was exploited and later dominated by the Incas. A safe fortress against any attack with different functions.
